Partnership with Simpson Parks and Recreation Center
In the Spring of 2024 The On Deck Circle, in collaboration with the staff at Simpson Parks and Recreation Center, provided a Spring baseball program. The program for ages 5-14 had assistance from caregivers of the participants and was a true community program. Each player received a t-shirt, bat/ball set, character education cards and snacks at each session. The season wrapped up with a family pizza party.
Partnership with Willard Elementary School - Kensington
In the Spring of 2024 The On Deck Circle moved from the role of providing equipment to running the baseball afterschool program at The Francis E. Willard Elementary. The program is free to 3rd and 4th graders over 10 weeks and culminates with a Field Day in May. Each player receives a t-shirt, bat/ball set, character education cards and snacks at each session.
Partnership with MLK Recreation Center
A Tuesday night Introductory Baseball Program in the North Philadelphia section of Philadelphia. We provide weekly instruction with experienced coaches, snacks, a bat & ball set, t-shirt and character education cards for each child.
Partnership with Give and Go Athletics
A Sunday “Bagels and Baseball” Program in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia at the historic Jefferson Street Ballpark grounds. We provide weekly instruction with experienced coaches, breakfast and snacks, and a bat & ball set for each child.
We provide weekly after school baseball programming as part of The North Hills Collective after school program.

We provide weekly after school baseball programming as part of the Rising Stars Homework Club After School Program in Amber, PA.

We donated equipment and provided a day of baseball activity in the HPE classes.
Urban Youth Kings & Queens
In collaboration with Urban Youth Kings & Queens and Give & Go Athletics, The On Deck Circle provided programming and on-field assistance during the Developmental Spring 2023 Season at Morton Playground.
UYKQ Parent Training
In collaboration with Urban Youth Kings & Queens a parent coaches training was provided by The On Deck Circle on April 15, 2023 at The Reformed Episcopal Church of Atonement.
