About Our Programming

At On Deck Circle, we believe baseball should be fast-paced, inclusive, and confidence-building.

Our BackYard Baseball format keeps players constantly engaged, eliminating downtime, boredom, and embarrassment. Every game incorporates essential elements of baseball within a structured time framework that increases physical activity while reinforcing fundamentals.

Players learn by playing.

Through game-based instruction, participants develop:

  • Fielding, throwing, and catching skills

  • Game awareness and baseball IQ

  • Confidence through repetition and success

  • Leadership and teamwork

  • A lifelong love of the game

Our programs are led by trained On Deck Circle staff who combine coaching expertise with positive youth development principles. We don’t just teach skills — we build character, cooperation, and community.

Flexible programs designed for leagues, schools, camps, and community organizations.

Entry Level Program

The perfect introduction to baseball and softball.

Players learn: Fielding, Throwing, Catching, Basic rules

Fun drills. Small games. Positive coaching.
Operated in partnership with leagues. Parent involvement required.

Bagels & Baseball

Our signature four-week community program.

Includes: On-site coaching, Breakfast & snacks, Bat & ball set for every child, All equipment provided

Build skills. Build community. Have fun.

Summer Camps

Inclusive. Active. Skill-focused.

Players build: Fundamentals, Leadership, Teamwork, Communication

Delivered in partnership with camps and parks & rec programs.

School Programs

Bringing baseball directly into public schools.

60-minute sessions focused on: Throwing, Catching, Hitting, Encouragement & teamwork
